No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

This housing is suitable for industry standard 2.5" x 10" cartridges, however, we cannot guarantee that a different brand of the same size filters will fit because sometimes manufacturers make their filters slightly different (by a few millimetres), these filters can be listed as 2.5" x 10" size, but unique for their brand systems.

For an incoming water hardness of 250ppm, what is the expected hardness of the filtered water, with the filters new and at the end of their useful life?

The expected filter life for limescale reduction at 250 ppm will be around 650 liters. For other impurities, filters can be used for 6 months.

Hello they are the same housing and filters, just that the EZFIT is designed for an existing kitchen 2 way mixer tap to filter the whole cold side, but the INDRA has different fittings for a separate single tap or a 3 way tap

I bought one of these and would like to connect in line to 1/4 in fridge hose. I bought a 1/2 male thread adapter but the thread is too long and doesn't screw all the way in to the filter. I bought an elbow adapter but that leaks. Can you suggest what I should be using?

The 1/2" male to 1/4" push fit adaptors that you have purchased are the correct fittings to mate your EZFitPro 300 system to 1/4" tubing. Please may I ask you to email us at info@osmiowater.co.uk with photos of the issue so that we may advise?

You can use this kit to filter your mains water before it is fed to your tap. The EZFITPRO-300 comes with 15mm push fit connectors and has 1/2" female inlet/outlet so if you need different connectors then please contact us by emailing info@osmiowater.co.uk so we can assist
