No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

Is this product exactly the same as the Osmio EZFITPRO - 400 other than the connections or are there other differences if so could you state them - Thank you

This product has the same filters and housing as the EZFITPRO-400 so it will provide the same performance in terms of filtration. The only difference are the additional parts to connect to pipework/taps. The Indra kits are designed to be fitted to a single dispensing tap or the filter side of a three way tap. The EZFIT kits come with 15mm push fits to allow them to be fitted to pipework and filter the existing cold feed.

It is 0.2 micron nominal. It would remove microplastic around that range and larger.
