No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

My son has an eczema. And after I've installed this filter and now he is much better. His legs back are normal now. However hands and face still not. I think is because we use tap to wash his hands. Is there any product like this filter we can install on our tap? we've got one of those old split taps downstairs. Please help!

it can, minimum temperature it needs to dissolve vitamin C is 12C - so it is not suitable only for cold water supply with lower temperatures.

Do you need a plumber to fit this? I've been looking at my wall mounted inline shower like the one in your image but I'm not sure how I add this in, if I need a professional or if it comes with instructions?

The filter is normally fitted between mixer and shower hose, or if you have an overhead shower head - then between hose and showerhead. you do not need a plumber to install or change the filter. The filter comes with instructions. You can download the manual on the product page or on the link below.

The cartridges are made from polycarbonate plastic and should be recyclable if your local authority accepts Polycarbonate.

This product adds vitamin C, there is a fabric filter in the shower head, this is to filter sediment and should be replaced every 3-4 months or so.
