Hi, I have two questions -
Does the nasal cannula come with this water bottle or do you buy it separately?
And do you ship to Australia?
Question by: Shayl on 14 Feb 2020, 08:04
The nasal cannula is included. Yes, we do ship to Australia.

Hi,
What is the best way to dispose of a used cartridge?
Question by: Robert Chittock on 26 Apr 2020, 14:06
Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

Can the sanitising housing be left in-line or should it be removed after sanitisation?
Question by: Stephen Ralling on 14 May 2021, 11:28
We do not recommend leaving them on for long - as the housing might leak over time.

Hi,
I recently purchased a new water system without a tank. I have 3 filters at the front, membrane and 2 post filters on a pump. How do I do sanitisation and when? Video and instructions are all with the tank system.
Many thanks
Question by: Zico on 13 Jan 2022, 09:08
You would just need to take all the filters out, put them Milton tablets , maybe 2, in the first filter housing and maybe break the second tablet into two and put one in third housing and one in membrane housing. Then with the tap off, slowly turn the water back on and allow the system to refill and then turn the incoming water back off. Let it sit full for 5-10 minutes and then, open the incoming water and slowly at first run the tap and start flushing. Run the system like that flushing for around 10-15 minutes before installing the new filters.

I have an RO system where the pre-filters do not have a separate housing. Can I leave them in place or will the old pre-filters stop the sanitation process from working? Can I somehow bypass the filters by connecting tubing together in some way? I am worried that if I mess about with the tubing I will never get it back together again.

In order to advise on this we would need to know which system you have, if you are able to send in images of your current system we will be able to further advise if you can bypass the filters during sanitisation, you can email us on info@osmiowater.co.uk or call us on 0330 113 7181 for further advice.
