No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

Hi Rudd, we still do this filter but we discontinued this the 6" version and now just do the 10" version which is better, little bit bigger but more media and better performance: https://www.osmiowater.co.uk/eco-10-maxi-body.html
