No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

No the bottle will generate sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and hydrogen peroxide is H2O2.

In the video you mention that you can make the solution ‘as strong as bleach’
Does this mean the solution would burn skin in the same way as neat bleach would?

It wouldn't burn the skin but it will dry the skin and irritate it quickly, but not a chemical burn

Hello - My Daughter purchased a H2 water generator for me, and it looks exactly like this model, the only difference is that instruction details that mineral water is used and not tap water. This actually makes sense now, why they say not to use tap water, as drinking strong hyerchlorite would not be good for health. Detailing the electrolysis portion to make H2 water, might be advantageous for your buyers 2 features for price of 1

Hi Eve, These are 2 different products and use the process of electrolysis in a different way and cant be combined.
I do not know the specs of the hydrogen bottle you have as a gift. In Osmio Duo Hydrogen Generator we use PEM technology - and tap water can be used safely. Cathode and anode are separated by PEM membrane. During electrolysis, using PEM technology only H2 is collected on the cathode and dissolved in water, all byproducts are collected on the anode and are safely expelled through the bottom of the bottle.
Sodium hypochlorite is produced by the electrolysis of brine. Both cathode and anode are located in the same compartment, it does produce great sanitising and cleaning solution - but can't produce safe hydrogen-enriched water.

is the solution generated by the sanser sanitizer spray 500ml and the sanser sanitiser 2l different, since the former has to be used within 24 hours and the latter can last for 30 days? thank you!

The solution generated by a 500 ml Sanser can be either 150 or 300 ppm depending on the cycle you choose. The solution generated by 2L Sanser can be up to 1200ppm (on 30 min cycle). The solution is unstable and it gradually turns back to salt and water.
Sanser 500ml 300 ppm solution is tested within 24 hrs after production and it meets standard BS 1276, which means that it kills 99% of bacteria on a surface in 1 min contact time (in clean conditions). The saturation is insufficient after 24 hrs to comply with the standards, however, some cleaning properties will remain for a longer period of time.
If stored as instructed (in a closed container away from daylight) 1200 ppm solution will stay concentrated enough for much longer.
I use about 2L of the solution every couple of days in my household.

Will the Sodium Hypochlorite react with acids such as vinegar to produce dangerous chlorine gas as in the case of regular household bleach?
And is the maximum concentration possible the same as regular 5% Sodium Hypochlorite in household bleach?

Yes, it will react with vinegar, citric acid, soaps containing ammonia - we do not recommend mixing it with any other cleaning products. You can read a blog on the link below.

In the manual it suggests 30 g of salt, although the video suggests only 12g. Does more salt make any difference to the concentration, and how much salt should we use for 2l water?
