No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

it would be best to contact the original pump supplier or manufacturer - as o-rings are different in diameter, density, and thickness and unlikely to fit.
