No the bottles uses a spe pem membrane method so it will not allow the pH influencing gases through it, just h2

Good question! The carbon can be crushed and disposed with your garden waste or can be added to flower beds (it will improve soil drainage and will slowly biodegrade); the plastic cups can be disposed in the recycling bin.

Does this or any other filter actually remove flouride from water ?

We have a range of products which reduce fluoride for point of use and point of entry. This filter has some capacity for fluoride reduction but is not what we would suggest on it's own. Please give us a call or email as we need to know how many occupants, bathrooms, postcode so we can find the fluoride level.
